The TVS Apache series has been bringing track-tested advancements to the road for 15 years. With only 200 units produced, the TVS Apache RTR 165 RP is a one-of-a-kind motorcycle. The TVS Apache RTR 165 RP is inspired by the TVS Racing Group C GP 165R race machine and was developed on the racetrack. The GP 165R, ridden by K. Jagan, has won the INMRC championship nine times. The TVS Apache RTR 165 RP is powered by a 164.9 cc, 4-valve engine that produces 19 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm at 8,750 rpm. TVS claims that the new Apache RTR 165 RP’s performance was accomplished via the use of various new technical advancements. The motorcycle has a redesigned cylinder head with a 35% increase in intake and a double electrode spark plug. For improved engine efficiency, the valve is 15% larger and thus is regulated using hi-lift, hi-duration cams, and dual spring actuators. An improved bore stroke ratio of 13.7 permits free-revving to the redline of 10,000 rpm. For greater higher compression, a new dome piston has been introduced.

The TVS Apache RTR 165 RP’s engine is coupled to a smooth-shifting 5-speed transmission, as well as a race-tuned slipper clutch and adjustable clutch and brake levers. TVS Racing emblems, red alloy wheels, and a new seat design are all new. The motorbike includes a redesigned headlight assembly with front position lights (FPL) that operate in both low and high beam modes. The Apache RTR 165 RP also has a first-in-segment 240 mm rear disc brake that provides excellent braking capability.
