The Jimny will be a more premium replacement to the Gypsy, with all the qualities of a true off-roader.
Scorpio is one of the favorite SUV cars in India. A new XUV700 and the new-generation Scorpio have been confirmed by Mahindra for the second part of FY2022. The Scorpio is set to be unveiled in India, while the former already has arrived and earned a name for itself. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will be built on the new ladder-on-frame chassis that both foundations the Thar, and this will be powered by the same petrol and diesel engines as the off-roader. The new-generation Scorpio is expected to hit Indian showrooms before March 2022.
A new Mahindra Scorpio gets its XUV700’s 2.2-litre mHawk diesel and 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engines. Select Scorpio variants are expected to come with 4WD, and the Scorpio will also have traction control.

The Kodiaq, too, is getting a mid-life makeover, this time with a petrol-only drivetrain powered by a 2.0-liter TSI engine and connected to a DSG automatic transmission.
Another similarity between the two SUVs is that the Kodiaq is also imported as a CKD model and manufactured at the same factory in Aurangabad. In January 2022, the Kodiaq redesign will be revealed.
Jeep Compass (or) Jeep Meridian (・_・?)
In 2021, a few 3-row SUVs based on existing 5-seater models will be available, such as the Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar. Jeep is following the same idea and developing a three-row SUV based on the Compass, that we’ve already seen prototype models of in India. The new SUV, which is believed to be designated the Jeep Meridian, is slated to debut in late 2022.
The Meridian is Jeep’s long-awaited three-row version of the Compass, and it will be available in India by the middle of 2022. It will be produced at Jeep’s Ranjangaon factory with the Compass.
The new Jeep SUV, known as the Commander in other markets, will be sold in India as the Meridian. While the Compass has an impact, several characteristics of the more premium Grand Cherokee can also be noticed, such as the sleek LED headlights and taillights, as well as the window line.
