The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been unveiled, and bookings are now open

Hyundai unveiled the India-spec Ioniq 5 last night at a function. Customers may now put their orders for the new EV by paying a nominal fee of Rs 1 lakh.

Based on the Electric-Global Module Platform is the Ioniq 5 vehicle (E-GMP). The automobile had a wheelbase of 3,000 mm with dimensions of 4,635 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,625 mm in height.

The Ioniq 5 has a design space with a modern exterior design. It has flush-fitting door handles, twin LED headlights with pixelated LED tail lights, and unique dual-tone alloy wheels. The inside of the EV has a 2-spoke steering wheel and a dual floating display in a basic design.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 will be powered by a 72.6kWh battery pack with 214bhp and 350Nm of torque. On a single charge, it has an ARAI-certified range of 631km. Using a 350kW DC charger, the company will provide a fast-charging capacity of 10-80% in just 18 minutes.
