BMW Motorrad has released not even one, but 3 motorcycles in one fell swoop! BMW Motorrad has added three new bikes to its adventure portfolio, beginning with the F 850 GS, which is priced at Rs 12.50 lakh, followed by the F 850 GS Adventure, which is priced at Rs 13.25 lakh, and finally, the F 900 XR, which is priced at Rs 12.30 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The Bavarian bike manufacturer has confirmed that delivery of all three models will begin in June 2022.

BMW F 850 GS & F 850 GS Adventure

The BMW F 850 GS is returned to the Indian market 2 years after it had been discontinued due to the implementation of BS6 standards. The F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure both are powered by an 853cc parallel-twin engine with produces 93bhp at 8250rpm & 92Nm of torque – a 4.5bhp and 6Nm boost over the previous model. The F 850 GS will only be available in Pro trim with Racing Blue Metallic paint scheme, whilst the Adventure will be available in two colors: Kalamata Metallic Black and Black Storm Metallic.

The motorbike is supported by a bridge-type frame and hangs off 43mm USD forks up front and just a mono-shock with rebound & preload adjustability at the rear. Suspension travel at the front and back is 230mm and 215mm, respectively. The F 850 GS has a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. Front braking is handled by 305mm floating twin discs and floating dual-piston calipers, and rear braking is handled by a 265mm disc with a single-piston caliper.

ABS, stability control, two riding modes (Road & Rain), adjustable levers, an onboard computer, and a 12V power connection are among the standard features of the F 850 GS. A 6.5-inch TFT cluster, smartphone connectivity, traction control, three riding modes (Enduro, Pro, and Enduro Pro), electronic suspension adjustability, a keyless system, and other choices are provided as options.

BMW F 900 XR

The BMW F 900 XR has been refreshed for 2022 with a drop in costs. Presently accessible just in the Pro variation, the F 900 XR has become more reasonable by Rs 10,000. The F 900 XR holds a similar plan, gear, and, surprisingly, the mechanicals as in the past. It utilizes a scaffold outline with the motor as a focused part. A motor is an 895cc unit that puts out 103.2bhp at 8500rpm and 92Nm of force at 6500rpm. Suspension obligations are dealt with by 43mm USD forks at the front and a mono-shock at the back with bounce-back movability.

Electronic flexibility will be presented as a choice. The F 900 XR sports 17-inch wheels on the two closures. It utilizes 320mm twin drifting plates with four-pot calipers at the front and a 265mm circle with a solitary cylinder caliper at the back. Wheel travel remains at 170mm and 172mm at the front and back individually.

As far as the hardware, the F 900 XR gets a 6.5-inch TFT show, movable windscreen, and switches, cell phone availability, motor slowing down control, riding modes, footing control, motor drag force control, versatile cornering lights, keyless framework, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

The 2022 BMW F 900 XR is offered in a single Sport Style (Racing Red) color theme and comes with a 3-year/unlimited km warranty.
