Hero MotoCorp extended the factory closure period until May 16, 2021

Hero MotoCorp announced that it will temporarily close its production plan and other facilities throughout the country until May 16, 2021. The company initially announced the initiative to temporarily suspend operations from April 22, 2021, to May 1, 2021 However, the closure period has been extended until May 9 and the COVID-19 situation is expected to improve.

However, since there was no possibility of breathing, Hero decided to extend the downtime to keep the employees safe. Recently, due to the pandemic, Maruti Suzuki has also extended the factory closing hours. In addition to Heroโ€™s manufacturing plant in India, Neemranaโ€™s Global Parts Center (GPC) and R&D Innovation Technology Center (CIT), the company also stated that it will โ€œcontinue to monitor the situation and prepare a plan.

To continue sales, the company recently launched an online virtual showroom and Hero Product Configurator (HPC).

The online showroom simulates the physical installation and provides a 360-degree view of the model, and also allows customers to explore the functional components and technical specifications.
